Building Connections For Safer Spaces

For Safer Spaces is a collaborative effort of local agencies, businesses, and services in the Fargo-Moorhead Greater Area that have experience working with community members who are uncertain of where to turn when faced with an unsafe home.

 

A project sponsored by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Hoarders Coalition, For Safer Spaces is trying to remove the negative stigma that comes with being overwhelmed and at a loss with the state of one's home.

2-6% of the population experience hoarding compulsions. But we know mental health, grief,  medical conditions and many other factors can contribute to what can be called hoarding. Whether you are a concerned neighbor, a family member seeking resources or you are looking for guidance yourself, we are here to compassionately and confidentially assist in connecting our community with local resources for safer spaces.
